Some phone chat companies have their own trainers or employ me to do their operator training for them.

These companies are often run by women, who understand that it’s not an easy job sitting on your own at home, or in front of a camera and talking to guy after guy.

Some companies simply supply a chat manual, but these often have very little information on how exactly to do the chat, give them any training or even advice on how to deal with tricky clients.

This can make a huge difference to the operator’s general level of happiness when working at home and the end result; the operators are expected to find everything out for themselves and to work out how to best make their own money!
